How are made our custom figurines ?

Each custom Bobble head design we make is totally handcrafted and hand-painted. No machine.

What are Custom Bobble Head figurines made of ?

For full head-to-toe custom figurines we use special soft polymer clay imported from Germany. This is non-toxic clay. It’s a special mixture of oxylite and alabastrite. It can be molded as needed. This material can produce great detail, such as hair texture and very fine details.

For premade bodies models we use polyresin. Polyresin is a stone-based material and stronger than ceramic. We use either type based on the type of order received.

What is the size of a Bobble Head figurine ?

Full head-to-toe custom figurines are about 6.25 – 7.5 inches high 

Premade figurine bodies models are about 5.5 – 7.8 inches high

Custom kids bobblehead are smaller, about 5 – 6 inches high

You also probably noticed that different bobble heads have different positions, some are sitting, some are bending, some are in other shapes etc... So these bobble heads might be shorter because of their position but will be proportionally equal to 5.5 – 7.8 inches high if they were standing.

Can you do everything we want ?

Because everything is totally made by hand, we can realize almost everything. Simply choose Full head-to-toe custom figurines.

Can we change the pose of premade bodies models ?

Because is premade bodies, you cannot change the pose. You can only change clothes’ colors, add logo, add text etc…

Can I put my figurine on my wedding cake ?

Sure ! Simply ensure that it can support the weight of the figurine weighs around 1lbs. Our figurines are not intended to come into contact with food products, we recommend that you place a plastic film between the figurine and the cake.

We are going to get married, is it necessary to be dressed on photos to realize our custom bobble head ?

It is not necessary to be dressed in your photos. You can send a photo of catalog, photos of your try-on or a description.

We do not wish to see each other dressed before our marriage, how can it be done ?

Simply write a note in your making instructions when placing your order. We will send your respective photos separately.

Do you make urgent orders ?

Yes, we make urgent orders. When you confirm your order, select express delivery (need additional cost).

How long does it take to make a figurine ?

The production takes several days between the time of carving, baking and assembly. It takes an average 6-8 working hours to carve a single face !

What are the photos requirements ?

It’s necessary to send good quality photos with great resolution. Photos must be clear and close up of head (head shots), taken from straight on (a skewed angle may decrease the resemblance).

The quality and the likeness of the figurine will depend of the pictures sent.

Send photos that you absolutely love! You will be happy with your custom figurine only if you’re very happy with your original photo.

Keep in mind, we sculpt what we see. So, Please be aware that the facial expression sculpted by our artists for your Bobblehead will be identical to the one on the front picture you uploaded.

You will not be able to send more pictures after the creation has started.

Will I receive proofs of my custom figurine to help ensure I'll love it ?

Of course! For each custom figurine, several photos are sent to you via our approval module before baking at each step of production. At this point, you have 72 hours to submit your comments and ask any changes to the facial characteristics and body (if the body is also custom).

You will then receive a new proposal that incorporates these changes. This process may be repeated until you are fully satisfied or the 72 hrs have elapsed.

Once approved, no further changes to the face can be made without additional fees.

 

Important: any requests of modification concerning information or photos which will not have been supplied with your order will be refused or charged.

What is the rate of likeness ?

MiniYoo® supply the best rate of likeness which you can find. It is about 80-90% and sometimes more. Customs figurines are totally hand-made and are not meant to be exact replicas of your faces. We make a representation of your person and not a portrait. Our artists find distinguishing characteristics and accentuate those to create a likeness. They are doing their best to create a model similar to your photo.

Do you have a printed catalog available ?

Unfortunately no. All product information is online only at this time. You will find all our figurines on our website. There are more than 500 premade bodies models classified by themes or you can create fully customized figurines in the « full head-to-toe custom figurines » section.

Do you ship worldwide ?

We ship products all over the world! For deliveries outside the European Union and especially to Switzerland, the United States or to the French overseas departments or territories the buyer is responsible for any customs or import duties levied on the ordered package.

Please note all the orders require a signature on receipt.

Can I ship figurines at different address ?

At the checkout, you can specify any address for delivery.

How the figures are packaged ?

All our figurines are extremely well packed to maintain and protect them from shock. It is almost impossible that they break during shipping. The incidence of figurines damaged during shipping is extremely low (approximately 1 case in 400). Our policy is to remake at our expense figurines damaged during shipping where its quality has deteriorated; for this, it is necessary that its recipient can send us the document certifying the deterioration of the bobblehead at the time of delivery. We therefore recommend that you open the package in front of the carrier at the time of delivery.

By what carrier are sent figurines ?

The figurines are shipped by express carrier : CHRONOPOST, DHL, TNT, EMS

What type of payment do you accept ?

You can pay your order by credit card (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard), PayPal, bank transfer, money order mandat.

How do I know if my payment is approved ?

Upon receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation by email. You can also check your account to see your order status.
